About Break for a Plate Alabama
If you or your family need help putting food on the table, Break for a Plate Alabama is here for you. Our programs provide free and reduced-cost healthy meals to kids, teens, and adults across the state. Whether at school, in daycare, or in your local community, we believe no one should go hungry, and we want to make it simple for you to find meals close to home. Administered by the Alabama Child Nutrition Program at the State Department of Education and supported by our network of community partners, each program is designed to meet specific needs.
